This document sets out the Terms and Conditions governing the provision of Home Television Services by CytelUK Telecom Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “CytelUK”).
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:
a) Hellenic TV means the provider of a television platform consisting of a number of Greek and community television channels.
b) The Subscriber means any customer who subscribes to CytelUK Home Television Services.
c) Hellenic TV has a separate commercial arrangement with CytelUK, utilising CytelUK’s network and systems to transmit television channels to Subscribers.
The Subscriber, in consideration of the monthly subscription fee payable to Hellenic TV via CytelUK, shall receive, through CytelUK systems, the standard Hellenic TV channel package together with any additional premium channels that may be offered by CytelUK from time to time.
CytelUK shall be responsible for billing and collecting all subscription fees on behalf of Hellenic TV.
The monthly subscription rate may be varied from time to time to reflect changes in channel availability, including the addition of new channels or the cessation of existing channels.
All subscription and connection charges shall be payable by the due date stated on the Subscriber’s bill.
If the Subscriber fails to settle any outstanding amount within the specified payment period, Hellenic TV reserves the right to suspend or terminate the provision of the television channels.
Hellenic TV undertakes to publish a detailed weekly programming schedule for its local community channels in the local press.
In addition, Hellenic TV shall make such programming schedules available on its website and provide summaries of key programmes, including films and special features.
The Subscriber shall report any faults or issues relating to the provision of the television channels to Hellenic TV via CytelUK, using the contact details provided by CytelUK.
All television channels shall be transmitted by CytelUK to the Subscriber strictly as delivered by Hellenic TV. CytelUK shall not be responsible for the content, scheduling, or availability of any channel.
It is agreed that CytelUK shall have no liability to the Subscriber for any disruption, deterioration, interruption, suspension, or discontinuance of the television channels, or for any failure or interference with reception.
Responsibility for any such events shall rest solely with Hellenic TV.
